A beautiful editorial photo shoot with Kim Shui, talented American fashion designer. She was selected by Vogue Italia to exhibit at Pitti Super Talents in Milan. The "minimalist mood with an ironic nod to the world of art and design" of this collection has helped to create the same mood on model Inna's hair and make up: simple hair, flawless glowy skin, nude lips and bold eyes.
An editorial fashion photo shoot. For the model’s make up I used glowy foundation with highlighters to create a wet finish look, neutral eyeshadows and dark burgundy glossy lipstick for bold lips.
An advertising make up for a cosmetics advertising campaign: wet violet and black eyeshadows with black glitters, clean fair skin with a matte finish look and 3D lips make up.
Make up editorial focused on eco beauty. I wanted to attract attention on eco trends in make up so I used as decoration natural materials such as seeds, flowers, dry small leaves and grass, and colorful highlighters on the model’s skin and décolleté.
The hairstyle I decided to do was very simple, with some wet effect on the strands of model's hair.
An editorial photo shoot for a fashion magazine with editorial hair: a sleek ponytail and an editorial beauty make up with colourful lime, green and blue eyeshadows and coral lipstick.
A fashion editorial photo shoot with futuristic, vintage and modern pin-up make up and hairstyling.
During this great photo shoot I collaborated with Piero Micol Ragni, a very talented fashion designer. His style is very unconventional, avant-garde, futuristic and theatrical. As a professional MUA and hairstylist, my task was to create a harmonious look that suited the whole mood of the shooting: minimalistic and clean make up with some small elements and simple hair.
An editorial photo shoot telling about modern duchess, aristocratic and noble in modern environment. To complete her outfit in turquoise green designer clothes, I created a 18th century high hairstyle and minimalistic beauty make up with clean fair skin, turquoise eyeshadows, black eyeliner and berry colour lipstick.
A fashion editorial photo shoot for an advertising campaign in a fashion magazine. In this beauty editorial make up I aimed to enhance the sensuality of the model, so I used long false eyelashes, a black winged eyeliner, a cut crease eye make up, red lips with a matte finish and a heart-shape mole on her cheek.
In this beauty make up editorial we wanted to convey the idea of sun, heat, summer of disco glittery times. We used glitters, golden make up pigments, bronzers and highlighters, with the help of colourful gels that are used a lot in fashion photography.
An editorial fashion photo shoot with an advertising hair and make up for a jewellery campaign. For this photo shoot all attention was focused on the jewellery made of recycled materials, so we wanted to keep the rest of the outfit simple and minimalistic: clean and flawless skin, red lips, a little bit of false eyelashes, simple loose hair with wavy hairstyling and natural light-colour nails.
An editorial hair and make up photo shoot with a clean simple look with mostly primary colours.
An advertising make up photo shoot emerged in iridescent colours and irony. The model is a beautiful blond girl, usually seen in Roy Lichtenstein comics and in Pop Art works. The predominant colours I used are iridescent - yellow, lime-yellow, red, blue and pink - and all colours are bright and vivid. Simply looking soft hairstyling complete the look.
A commercial make up photo shoot for lipsticks advertising: colourful, juicy, glossy and sweet like summer’s berries and fruits.
A beauty commercial makeup for a make up campaign. I wanted to emphatize the model’s tanned and healthy skin, so I used bright and colourful, shimmery and creamy eyeshadows and glossy red lipstick.
This photo shoot was a collaboration to create a tribute to the internationally renowned American artist Brian Viveros, famous for his highly detailed paintings of defiant doe-eyed beauties that summon a raw poetic of intractability. Beautiful and yet barbarous, they draw from the power of the feminine and its reconciliation of vulnerability, beauty and power. His subjects are fighters and survivors, rendered immaculately and just bloodied enough to remind us that they are formidable opponents not to be taken lightly. The artist's hyperreal portraits deliver cult worthy heroines emerging triumphant from battle, complete with cigarettes anchored from parted lips, tattoos and wounds to rival any soldier's; they are steel tough victors rendered with something of the sublime. Viveros' work elevates the iconography of the femme-fatale as a powerful emblem of strength and retaliation: insubordinate beauties undaunted by the unruliness of a messy fight. A technical perfectionist, Brian Viveros' oil, airbrush, acrylic and ink paintings are highly saturated with pigment, luminosity and depth, while the compositions are poignant and simple. The artist's emphasis tends to be on focal points such as the eyes, lips and skin, conveying the subtlety of minute expression and the power of an impaling gaze. His paintings have been a high inspiration in our work and I tried to find and create all the necessary accessories, hairstyling, body painting and make up to render our tribute more realistic to the painter's style.
This editorial photo shoot was inspired by one of the most influential trends of 2018, kinship, which focuses on a growing sense of community, cultural sharing and breaking boundaries, not only in clothing but in hairstyling and make up. On my beautiful model I used white aqua colours to paint tribal patterns and create contrasts on her dark skin.
This editorial photo shoot for a make up campaign was inspired by one of the most influential trends of 2018: slow futures. This trend looks to the past to imagine the future and it’s characterised by a juxtaposition of the urban and natural, and embraces the virtue of the raw and elemental. The make up focuses on colours that are sophisticated but earthy, and works for make up looks that transition from winter into spring. In this beauty makeup I used copper, burgundy and chestnut shades as eyeshadows and foil while lips are almost nude and skin is matte, flawless and powdered.
